75 km from the center of Athens at the southern tip of the island lies Akrotiri of Sounio, known for the ancient temple of Poseidon. We will reach our destination, after having enjoyed the route along the Athenian Riviera (Faliro, Alimos, Glyfada, Kavouri, Vouliagmeni) and the Saronic Gulf (Varkiza, Lagonisi, Saronida). In less than an hour we will be in Sounio, where you can visit the archaeological site (Temple of Poseidon) and admire the breathtaking view while enjoying your coffee. Particularly in the summer months the ideal time is the afternoon to experience one of the finest sunsets in a romantic atmosphere.
